Trip to Barneville-Carteret, La Manche, France

I traveled with my family to Barneville and found that the geographical situation could not have been more favorable to take photos of the sea or the cliffs.

During my short stay I took more than a thousand shots of this particularly  beautiful place. Obviously I had to sort out my photos and decide the ones to publish here for you to see.

Here are some of my favorites from this place:

Playing with Rodin...

Auguste Rodin is a 19th century French sculptor known as the father of modern sculpture. His work is a real praise of the human body.

In the seventh arrondissement of Paris is his museum. When I visited it I chose to take some picture of his most interesting pieces. I decided to make a montage of these pictures hoping that they would reflect well on both his work and on my vision of his work.

Here they are:

The mouvement of the bodies are enhanced by the multiplication of the same shot.

Paris by night...

Here are a few shots of Paris by night. Taking pictures by night I find are quite difficult a task. Indeed, the natural light outside is so dim, even in a big city like Paris that it is very important that you use a tripod or a piece of the local architecture like a bridge or a bench. This will give you the stability you need to reduce or eliminate the noise created by movement blurs.
Here are some examples of what you can do at night:

Paris...

When I went to Paris I obviously couldn't prevent myself from taking as many pictures as my memory card could withstand. But after a thorough process of choosing which to publish and how to publish it, here is the result:
