These two photos have been taken in a park near my hometown. It was a very sunny day and the light was quite interesting. It gives the shots a yellow tint. The second photo is a framed shot and the way the ivy climbs on the ruins of an old church clearly attracts the eye.
Here are two black and white photos of Toulouse. The first one is a shot of a nice building with interesting architecture. The second one is a photo of a stream that courses through the sidewalk creating a nice curve whichis reflected in the picture.
I went to Switzerland in February and I took the opportunity to capture a few snowy landscapes. I particularly like this one of a lonely tree in a snowy field. I find this photo quite poetic.
I went to visit the top of Mont Moléson with cable cars. Once I overcame the feeling of vertigo and of imminent death by falling hundreds of feet, I was able to realise the beauty laid out before me.
Here is a photo of Mont Moléson. The weather was perfect for this kind of picture.
When I went to Switzerland, we visited several lakes. These photos are my favorites from this trip. I'll let you judge for yourself whether you find them interesting as well.
This quay offers a nice barrier between the water and the sky which share the same tint. It also enables us to skim through the photo from left to right. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing.
In Switzerland the landscapes are amazing, the lakes, the mountains... there are many things to see and obviously many things to photograph.
Here are a few examples of my favorites landscapes I took when I went over there.
This photo is a photo of Lake Geneva and its houses and forests. I chose to take it in black and white for obvious reasons and added grain to make the shot more dramatic. It's one of my favorites.
As I said before, taking photos of people is a difficult task. With this shot, I succeeded to surreptitiously photograph these boules players in the middle of a throw. It creates a dynamic shot.
I went to Barneville-Cartert a little port town in La Manche in France. As you may have seen on this blog, I particularly like taking photos of the seaside. I find that it creates both dynamic and poetic shots whichever the weather.
I chose to show you these several photos of sunsets as they offer different sets of colour.
On this first shot, the sky has a nice pink tint that's being reflected on the withdrawing tide. The sea is a nice purplish colour which perfectly associates with the colour of the sky. I find this photo quite harmonious.
I traveled with my family to Barneville and found that the geographical situation could not have been more favorable to take photos of the sea or the cliffs.
During my short stay I took more than a thousand shots of this particularlybeautiful place. Obviously I had to sort out my photos and decide the ones to publish here for you to see.
