I went to Barneville-Cartert a little port town in La Manche in France. As you may have seen on this blog, I particularly like taking photos of the seaside. I find that it creates both dynamic and poetic shots whichever the weather.
I chose to show you these several photos of sunsets as they offer different sets of colour.
On this first shot, the sky has a nice pink tint that's being reflected on the withdrawing tide. The sea is a nice purplish colour which perfectly associates with the colour of the sky. I find this photo quite harmonious.
On this photo, what attracts the eye is the light of the beacon on the seawall. But we are also pulled by the mix of colours created by both the setting sun and the clouds.
On this shot, the atmosphere is less dynamic and offer a more peaceful sunset. It represents the calm after the storm. The sky has a blueish tint strewn with pinkish clouds. The sea is calm and there is no sound to be imagined. It is the perfect tranquility.
On this shot, the focus is less on the sunset that it is on the flower witnessing the sunset itself. The overall tint of the photo is a soft yellow. The flower witnesses calmly the sun setting and prepares for the night.
All these sunset photos offer different tints and atmospheres.
